On the 21^st of February we had the greatest pleasure of hosting the GIBS Social Entrepreneurs class at our Johannesburg Braamfontien head office. The class of fourteen which was made up of CSI managers, media editors, leaders within NPO’S, social entrepreneurs and representatives from various state owned enterprises  came in for their S.E  orientation site visit.

The class was welcomed and hosted by the Maths Centre’s director Sharanjeet Shan and she ran a question and answer session with the class. The interaction between Sharanjeet and the class came quite naturally and they asked her questions ranging from the challenges that come with running an NPO to the financial questions and the discipline needed to run an NPO.

The class was still quite eager to learn and ask more questions but unfortunately time wasn’t on their side anymore, hopefully they will be answered on their next visit. But on the bright side, they left feeling inspired and that seemed quite alright with Sharanjeet Shan.
