The matric motivation and careers day was held on the 26th of May 2018. Matric students from the project schools were taken through a motivational session and received some valuable information on career choices, application for tertiary education and information on bursary applications. The event also served to give exam and study tips to the learners and a very valuable Survival Kit.
Learners have a more intimate knowledge of their peers and easily relate to each other, hence they can easily motivate each other. Students from various schools gave exceptional motivations to their peers, emphasising on the need to remain focussed on their ultimate goal for 2018.

These learners took turns to motivate their peers on the importance of staying forcussed and setting aside anything that may distract them from their school work. They also expressed appreciation for the extra support offered by Maths Centre.
Survival Kit
As a way to motivate learners and prepare them for exams, Maths Centre took an innovative initiative to put together a Survival Kit. The kit does not only help learners with exam tips, but gives life-long lessons on coping with life issues.
